Senator Ben Kramer was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2006. He served his first term on the Judiciary Committee where he quickly recognized the value of working with, and respecting the positions, of all of his colleagues, not just those in his political party. He also knows the importance of taking the issues and the work seriously, but not himself. Disagreeing without being disagreeable has been a keystone of Ben’s ability to work cooperatively with legislators from around the state to pass important and meaningful legislation during his 12 years in the House of Delegates.
Senator Kramer finished his service in the House serving on the Economic Matters Committee, where is 35 years as a small business owner provided him with vital experience and perspective to understanding the subject matter that came before the committee.
